Apart from those Carrie mentioned, I really like "Planet of the Ood."

I think with Doctor Who, you have to kind of turn off logic and just enjoy it for what it is. Personally, I think the characters rather than the plots are often what draws people to Doctor Who.
F.ex. I like Martha and Donna better than Rose (although I love Rose as well) therefore I like the seasons with them better.Julienoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-228678769273144852.post-66409433336759343162012-09-08T12:29:58.839-07:002012-09-08T12:29:58.839-07:00We've heard the Christmas specials are some of...We've heard the Christmas specials are some of the best. You've probably got enough already to watch, and again Karrie has listed most of the essentials, but there's also a two parter follow up to Blink that may be worth adding to the list: The Time of Angels, and Flesh and Stone, and if you're in the mood for any christmas specials A Christmas Carol was decent.Khazidheahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10833833078199356986noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-228678769273144852.post-15995417601176707932012-09-07T16:54:50.363-07:002012-09-07T16:54:50.363-07:00Thanks, will do. You've already seen two doctors, and while a lot of different stuff goes on many episodes are still the doctor stumbles into a mystery/adventure/invasion/whatever and spends half the episode running from the threat before resolving it. I was hooked already by this point, which was probably good as now Rose is gone (still my favourite companion) and while the next two grew on me over time it took a while before I appreciated them, but I didn't really enjoy the companions until the introduction of Amy Pond.

I second watching most of the episodes recommended by Karrie, especially Blink, and the Doctor's Wife written by Neil Gaiman. River Song is a bit polarising, some people love her, some don't. If you get that far you can adjust the number of episodes you watch accordingly. I'd probably also add watching the last 20 minutes of The End of Time part 2 in between seasons 4 and 5 to see off David Tennant (from about the 48min mark onwards).Khazidheahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10833833078199356986noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-228678769273144852.post-88722493604349863302012-09-06T16:13:56.372-07:002012-09-06T16:13:56.372-07:00Gracias.
