ReplyDeleteThe update is true. We kind of want to keep things open, in case life gets less busy and we can go back to blogging daily again.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone have an idea of what day of the week would be best? Friday, because it's the end of most of the week's shows and you can still peruse in class or at work? That's what we are thinking so far.
Well if you do shut down that would be disappointing, but I understand your priorities.
ReplyDeleteFor me at least, I'd say keep the site running as you are able to, posting when you have the time. Whether that means posting once per week on a specific day, with say an extra post every now and again when you've got some extra time, or there's a new show out or one of your favourites has had a great episode. And when you're facing an extra busy week a quick apology post would be enough to explain that there'd be no other posts that week.
I've got no real preferences for the day of the week, maybe Mondays?
I would really hate to see this site shut down! I've really enjoyed reading your posts. My vote is to keep the thing going all possible.

ReplyDeleteWell, I will definitely miss you so much but I understand you and Fridays sounds perfect. Thanks for ALL the incredible post and share your love for TV.
I'd say that you don't need to do full recaps but maybe just give some opinions and about an episode that you really liked or about an event that was more shocking than usual, or about sth that could start a debate, just to keep the blog going, once a week is enough.

Sad to lose a source of awesome commentary in my life, but depressingly sympathetic to your plight. I hope you will keep the blog around, if for nothing more than venting about shows when you feel the urge (that's what I do!). Thanks for all the posting to this point, in any case! You guys are swell!
ReplyDeleteNoooo don't shut down the blog! I love it! Updating once a week works, you guys can just give your opinions on the week's episodes briefly and we can still comment,at least it's better than nothing at all.

I have to say the recaps are awesome but I love the simple grade of each episode, too. Just to see if we agree :) Maybe you (or we) could come up with a brief set of criteria, what you look for in an episode, and just give out letter grades? As always, looking forward to updates.
