UPDATE: Karine Vanasse tweeted- "Well, we received THE call. Pan Am is only coming back for one more episode after Christmas. But up to the end, we'll give it our all.
Later, it was revealed that the show will actually have 14 episodes total for its first season. ABC ordered one more. Things are looking grim for a season 2 though.

That's too bad, I enjoyed both shows. =(
ReplyDeleteOne of us mildly enjoyed Man Up! but isn't sad about its cancellation. It really wasn't as bad as critics and others said though.
ReplyDeletePan Am really should have been better with all the hype, money, and opportunities the network gave it. If the first couple of episodes were as good as the most recent ones have been, it might have kept its audience.
I'm not minding cancellations as much as I used to. There is so much quality stuff on TV already (both comedy and drama.) Also, I already know when shows get cancelled because I follow TVBYTheNumbers pretty much everyday. I would have probably felt much worse if I didn't know about the whole ratings/viewers thing. Thank god for that!
ReplyDeleteI would probably be sad for the cancellation of Community but will get over it. Oh...btw Community won the cover for TV Guides "Fan Favorite" thing that went on a while back. (People could vote as much as they could to get there fav show on the cover. Chuck was #2 I think) Let's hope that does something.
We agree with you about the fact that there is so much quality stuff on. It does lessen the sting. However, we would both literally cry if Community were cancelled.
