  1. NBC:
Glad that Community is out of the danger zone. Happy that Smash got renewed. Sad that Awake is in the danger zone. Happy that Parks & Recreation is safe. Parenthood needs to be renewed already. Stop forgetting about your #2 (used to be #1) drama and one of the best family shows. Dropped Grimm and Up All Night. The lead actors in Grimm weren't good and the procedural parts weren't interesting. Up All Night was pretty boring. I enjoyed Harry's Law but dropped it when it changed to Sundays and also because it's in the danger zone.

Fox: Happy for Glee no matter how inconsistent it is. Love New Girl! I'm glad that Raising Hope also got out of the danger zone...<3 <3 <3 the show. I haven't watched Alcatraz for a while but I do wish it did better since it had some good stuff going for it. Sucks that better writers didn't get the chance to take over for Terra Nova. One more season of Fringe, Fox. You'll just lose a couple more million dollars on it. That's all! JUST A COUPLE MILLION...you make more then that. One more season won't hurt you. And most of your new dramas failed you not only in ratings but in critical praise. ONE MORE SEASON!!! :D

ABC: Modern Family is repetitive but I still enjoy the show. Cougar Town Noooooo!!! WHY?!?! :( :( :( Once Upon a Time Yey. Revenge yum yum yum Happy Endings :D :D :D :D I still need to check out the other shows on ABC.

CBS: Person of Interest, How I Met Your Mother, and The Big Bang Theory are all I watch on CBS. I still need to check out The Goodwife but I always want to catch up on other shows (old or new.)

CW: The Vampire Diaries is awesome and yey that it's doing good. Nikita is amazing..I'll be sad if it goes away. The show looks amazing, the action is good, the story is good. The show is free and it's better then most action movies. Should ratings really matter to you, CW? This show will do good with DVD sales, word of mouth, action fans, serialized fans, and Maggie Q fans. I'm sure you don't get much money with the kind of ratings you get. Nikita is amazing! Still need to check out The Secret Circle and Supernatural.

    1. Also
      Touch :D :D :D
      Pan Am :( :( :(
I didn't check out The River because of the crazy Tuesday line-up and ratings. Same with Prime Suspect.

    2. One of us agrees with this entire comment. Up All Night can be dull, but we like it because it's sweet and it's a family show. Notice that we aren't caught up on it. Only one of us likes Grimm.

The Good Wife and Secret Circle are great. Supernatural has a rough, cheesy first season, but Ern's brother says it gets better after that.

    3. I'm torrenting Supernatural. I finished torrenting Lost yesterday...I wouldn't have watched it knowing that a lot of people didn't like the ending...but since both of you liked the ending and the whole show, I'm going to give it a shot. I'm going to waste my spring break over Supernatural. :)

    4. Dude, you should absolutely watch LOST. We were fine with the ending. Even the haters will admit the ending wasn't BAD. It just wasn't as good as the rest of the show. LOST set a high bar for itself. Besides, it's about the journey, not the destination.

There are two kinds of people 1) people who want all the answers to every little question spelled out in detail or some sort of mind blowing twist and 2) People who would have been fine with a good emotional resolution. LOST delivered for the second group of people.

We wrote this about the ending earlier, in case you missed it (it's good if you missed it, because we had some spoilers in that post): "We think that everything the show didn’t explicitly answer can be figured out through thought and subsequent viewings of the series. If you were to present us with a legitimate question about LOST that you are hopping mad that the show didn’t ever answer, we could probably answer it. We are satisfied with what we know.

The greatest thing about the island was its mystery. Once you dissect that and lay all its guts out on the table, it loses its mystery. There are people who want answers to every question, but there are other people who just enjoy the ride and get that there are things, not just on TV but in life, that we don’t get spelled out for us. Grey areas are fun. They are playgrounds for the mind.

Plus, the finale was a wonderful emotional ending that was true to the show’s big heart. And it added a dose of spirituality that the show was famous for."

So, yeah. Watch it and don't worry about the ending.

  2. Happy for Grimm and Person of Interest and sad for Terra Nova and Pan Am. They weren't so good but I enjoyed them. Of course the best shows are in a good situation and that's great. I just ask for one more season of Fringe and a nice ending and I'm happy and I'll let it go haha

    1. Leeard enjoyed both Terra Nova and Pan Am. Ern enjoyed the Terra Nova pilot and then hated it after that. Ern mildly enjoyed Pan Am, but wasn't sad about its cancellation.

If Fringe gets another season, we will totally watch it. But that show constantly wastes episodes and is always "almost" great.

  3. I see you have The River underlined, what are your views on it now that the first season has ended? While I'd hesitate to call it good, I can't deny that it has been entertaining.

The only shows of note that I watch that you haven't underlined are Supernatural and The Mentalist. I still find the individual episodes of Supernatural entertaining, especially when they include different aspects of geek culture and fandom, even when the overarching plot isn't drawing me in. The Mentalist can some times be a bit hit and miss, and I don't really remember much of the first season so I don't know of any good point to start watching the series, but overall I'd say it has more good points than bad.

    1. Our view on The River are the same as yours. Really, we'd just like to see more from it. It's not a favorite, but we could stand to see another short season.

Leeard watched Supernatural the first season and then didn't like the second season. I watched some of the first season and didn't like that, but I heard it gets a lot better. Maybe one day, when I get a break, I will check it out again.

  4. Man..Awake's ratings continue to drop. I'm glued to Awake's episodes. I would normally drop a show where the ratings = most likely a cancellation but I can't drop Awake. It's that good. DAMN IT! lol

    1. Yeah. It will most likely be cancelled and we are as bummed as you are, but we aren't super surprised.

  5. Is the acting better now on Grimm? Are the episodes more entertaining now? I want to know if I should come back to the show (quit after the 10th or so episode)

    1. Leeard is still watching, but honestly, if you didn't like it enough to continue watching it after episode 10, you probably wouldn't like it any more now.
