Once Upon a Time season 2, episode 10

The Cricket Game- Hook definitely needs Cora. Can you imagine him trying to take on Rumpy by himself? That would just be sad. Leeard wants Lana Parilla's haircut. Ern wants Red Riding Hood's everything. And Mary Margaret's clothes in this episode. We love that Emma invited Regina to the Welcome Home party.

They need to name her godmother to Henry, so that she gets a proper role in his life without trying to take over as actual mother. He doesn't need to come over for sleepovers, but lunches, shopping, and holidays should be appropriate. Every Regina fan should be shedding tears over this episode, in which Cora schemes to make it harder for Regina to redeem herself. And Archie. He should not have talked about Regina's therapy to Emma.

We loved the line: "Need I remind you that you got your P.h.D. from a curse?" Poor Archie. Who did Cora kill? Someone of significance or just a random extra? Emma is finally cool and unannoying. Her sixth sense about who is telling the truth served her well, even though her magic didn't. But still, we so happy that she's finally using magic!

The flashbacks went well with what was going on in the present, but since we ultimately knew how things would turn out, they slowed down the episode. We guess it was important to see just how Rumpy manipulated Regina into making the curse. Overall, this episode was setting up for weeks to come and exploring Regina's emotions. More will happen later, surely.

Episode grade: B
