Pretty Little Liars: Season three, episode 24

A dAngerous gAme- The biggin'. Well, everyone saw that coming. The Redcoat reveal was predictable and needed to happen. We all knew it was her. We're just glad it wasn't someone else and we had to wait for a reveal that it was her. But let's back up...

...to what freaking LIARS everyone involved with PLL are. The creator said that Toby did not have good intentions. Whoa, hey, guess what? He does. They also said that A would not be Mona at the end of season two and that they weren't following the books. Clearly, we can't trust anything they say. Not that we did this time. Fool us once, shame on you...etc.

Toby is alive, which is also not a shocker. He, Spencer, and even Mona are all on the A Team just so they can figure out who A is. (It's Alison. Or Alison's evil twin sister.) Alison saves the Liars lives and is seen by both Hanna and Mona. Dun dun dunnn. For some reason, they float this "mask" theory. Someone is wearing an "Alison mask." Alison is alive, dolts. You have all seen her multiple times and there's no other satisfying explanation. UGH!

In other news, Ezra and Aria are broken up, and he's taken a job at her high school again. Back to square one. Aria won't even wait seven months for him, saying they both need to move on, so we know it's less about his job and more about his new child. So, Ezria shippers, how can you say it's true love now? Maggie and Malcolm show up, and Aria can't deal? Sorry to bait you like that, but for real, these two just need to fizzle out forever.

Also, Jenna, Shana, and Melissa are all conspiring. They dragged Wilden from the scene after Ashley hit him. Jenna and Shana are romantically involved, less because Jenna is gay and more because Jenna will sleep with anyone. We're pretty sure they are the people who locked the girls in the house and set it on fire, dropping the lighter to frame Toby. Alison had not yet flown- yes, we said flown- in.

The episode ends with Wilden's car, pulled from the lake, laptop still working. The Liars get a text from A and open the trunk and gasp. What's in the trunk? Probably Wilden's dead body, no? Off we go to update our insane PLL summary to include this season. We have until June, haha.

Episode grade: A-

  1. As much as I hate to say this, I was disappointed in this episode. I was expecting to be shocked & I just wasn't. I thought last weeks episode was MUCH better...Having said all that, I can't wait until it comes back in June!

  2. YES! You will make a summary of this season! That's perfect. I love your summaries.

I love the episode as a whole. I dind't like the song "Ride" by Lana del Rey in the Spoby scene though.

    1. Thanks! We didn't mind it, because if you're going to have a LDR song in PLL, it has to be during a Spencer sex scene, haha

  3. Do you all watch "The Lying Game?" I just started watching it on Netflix & I really like it. Kind of a mix between "Switched @ Birth" & "PLL"

    1. Leeard still watches it; I used to watch it. We both like it. I just ran out of time to keep up with it. I'll catch up one of these days. We love the lead actress. And Laurel.
