The entertainment blog that started because of two out-of-control television addictions. We might as well do something with it.

Lame. They should pick up a show that doesn't suck.
ReplyDeleteLights Out is gone. Fringe is renewed. Bad news and good news for the day eh? :) Fringe is awesome!
ReplyDeleteI'll miss Lights Out though but oh well I guess...it was expected.
ReplyDeleteAwesome news!
ReplyDeleteHaha, CurvyGirl. Those are fightin’ words around these parts. Just think though: What other sci-fi show is even watchable for the sci-fi nerds right now? The Event sucks, V should be cancelled, and LOST and all the Whedon stuff is over. We understand the hate, because we had a hard time getting into Fringe. The whole first half of season one was unbearably slow and almost unwatchable. But season three is a lot better. Until A Game of Thrones hits, HBO, Fringe is where the geeks are.
ReplyDeleteThe renewal of Fringe is good, because it’s unlike anything else on TV right now. How many more teen shows, girly dramas, medical procedurals, and legal/cop procedurals do we really need? We’re celebrating with the rest of these commenters.
We really need a good historical show right now though…
I was totally ready for Fringe when it came on. As a die hard Lost fan, (critical though I was) I was excited for something new. But even after the first episode, something about it was just bothering me.
ReplyDeleteIt felt like it was TRYING to be mysterious, while actually just being dodgy.
The last straw for me was that I was just absolutely couldn't watch the bad acting, personality-less, downright ugly blonde chick interact with sexy Dawson's Creek guy. Shallow, maybe, but it was just too much for me.
They explain why her character comes across as so flat at first. We hated the first episodes too and stopped watching for about two years. We def see what you mean.
ReplyDeleteI actually liked the first season of Fringe (was grossier) but I also love the third season of Fringe so.. :) I think Olivia is pretty hot. (didn't think that when I first saw her but as I continued watching the show...I found her to be hot.) :)
ReplyDeleteIt WAS grosser. We were actually annoyed that Olivia looked too much like a model and not an FBI agent. We thought she was too pretty at first and then we decided she wasn't that pretty later. She's better with bangs. Everyone has their taste in beauty though.
