Other New Shows We Like

No time or inclination to do a full post on these, but we thought we would mention that we are liking The Chicago Code and Breaking In. These are good new shows so far.

Much better than Camelot, which we have decided to watch for the sole purpose of hating on it. Look forward to the hate posts, friends.

Bad acting, not a cute Arthur, not interesting, Arthur has no honor, Joseph Fiennes, the show brings nothing new to the table, Arthur is a slut, no good fight scenes, boring, dank atmosphere, Arthur is not a king we would follow..... We could go on. And we will.

We hate that show. Almost as much as we hate Two and a Half Men, a show we won't even watch for hate-post purposes.

  1. I haven't really watched much of Chicago Code because it wasn't on my Must Watch list, so it got sort of tossed to the side. But I've seen a couple episodes, and it seemed fine and entertaining. I know it's shallow, but I can't get over the main character's accent. I'm pretty sure he's trying to do a Chicago accent, but it's coming out as Boston with a twitch. I can't help it, it's distracting. Still, the rest of the show seems fine.

  2. The one that watches The Chicago Code is mildly obsessed with the city of Boston, so she isn't irritated by the accent. The actor is from Australia, so we think the accent isn't bad from that standpoint.

We will be writing a post about why we like the show in the next few weeks; it's definitely "entertaining" but one of us thinks it's far beyond "fine".

  3. So why do you waste your time watching Camelot?

  4. Because some things are fun to mock...and we hardly ever get the chance to cover bad shows, bc we generally only watch good ones.

  5. There are actually a few shows we watch, not because we like them, but for the blog.

Like American Idol (for one of us). One of us hates reality TV. Also, America's Next Top Model, which is a show that hundreds of people seem to want to read about. We get more hits from people googling that than any other show.
