We know that lots of you guys watch Grey’s Anatomy and are missing it, so we thought we’d bring up the most recent spoilers. Stay away from this post’s comments if you don’t want to know. They aren't really that exciting, but it's better than nothing.

The Chief will be stepping down (for realz this time. Seriously, this guy has been waffling on this decision for seven seasons now). One of his reasons is that he needs to be with his wife through her Alzheimer’s. The other reason has to do with Meredith tampering with the drug trial.
ReplyDeleteOwen Hunt will replace him as chief. This is not a surprise to us at all. The only person who IS surprised is Owen. The actor said, “"He's…surprised…And he's nervous about it. He's a man of action, really, and the head of trauma surgery - that's what he knows. Suddenly, he's in a more administrative position. I think the way he deals with that is going to be interesting."
This change will also add another layer of conflict to his relationship with Cristina, naturally.
