The Golden Globes are on crack

The Newsroom and Smash (?!!) were nominated in best show categories. Boardwalk Empire was nominated and not Mad Men. Also, no Game of Thrones. Episodes was nominated over Louie. Whatever. We're glad Girls got some love.

  1. Golden Globes and most award shows suck. All I ask for are good nominations. Good/better shows should receive better recognition.

I'd rather watch Ern and Leard making a video of giving out awards. Maybe being naked and doing lesbian stuff to each other. MAKE IT HAPPEN!

    1. hahaha

It would ruin the friendship. Also, it would blind our viewers, because I'm so pasty white. That ass hasn't seen sunlight in like 15 years, and I'm Irish.

    2. I haven't seen much sunlight as well...always in my room stinking it up. I should enjoy what's out there more than I should but what's inside here is just awesome. TV, computer, tech, etc. I need to go out more haha...but I guess I don't go out much because I don't have anyone to go out with. Not fun going alone somewhere, imo. All my real life friends are somewhere and I never kept in contact with them. I lost out...I don't bother searching for them on Facebook because they have names and last names that are popular. Searching through Facebook takes a lot of time. :( I do have some of my real life friends online, though.

I find it weird trying to make friends in college or just making new friends. Something I'm not used to..haha...Everyone is of different age, different backgrounds, etc. It was easier in high school/middle school/elementary and having recess/lunch helped in getting to know the people around you and making friends. College = no time to find that. haha It's "I have class" and go home.

I don't know why I said all this and ended up there....but yeah. haha

      - Keep the friendship, throw away my idea of being lesbians. :)

      - Irish. That's cool. Never would have thought. :P

  2. I was wondering about how Scandal is received in the US? I totally love it, it is completely my guilty pleasure. It doesn't seem to be getting much love in Australia, but how is it going in the US?

PS you had me at Awards anonymous, lost me at Maybe.

    2. hahaha, thanks guys I think??

Scandal is doing pretty well. Not as well as it should be, obviously, but it's not in danger of being cancelled yet.

  3. Am I the only one who think that Lily Rabe was snubbed?

BTW every time that I comment with my google account, a few seconds later my comment is delete. Why? :(

    1. It's our spam filter. Sometimes it just decides someone spams. We have to go into the spam folder and look for legitimate comments all the time.

And YES. Lily Rabe rocked it this year.

    2. Oh, then sorry. Your blog rocks! Did yoy watch Silver Lining Playbook? I looooove Jennifer Lawrence and she is like the favorite to win a lot of awards cause of that movie and I want to know your opinion.

    3. We love her too. So so so much. We're sure the movie is going to be great and we really want to see it. We haven't been able to yet though. If we're not together, I (Ern) mostly go to see movies with my brother and Leeard has a male roommate. SLP has been deemed "a chick flick" by them, so we have to find someone else to go with us.

    4. LEEARD SAW IT OVER THANKSGIVING WEEKEND AND LOVED IT.

Wow am I glad I saw this comment. I think the people made the movie better than it probably was. Robert De Niro, Bradley Cooper, and Jennifer freaking Lawrence can have that effect. It was a pretty good story though.

I'll admit though that I'm biased, as I love both Jennifer Lawrence and the city of Philadelphia.

    5. You saw a Jennifer Lawrence movie that long ago, loved it, and didn't tell me?!!
