The Week's Grades for unreviewed episodes...Except for Fringe, which Neither of Us Has Seen Yet

A
-Being Human (lots of twists. We're really enjoying this show.)
-Grey's Anatomy (finally, Meredith center-stage in a touching episode. Also, Teddy wasn't desperate, like she usually is.)
-The Vampire Diaries (return of Katherine and Alaric in danger. Also, Elena is back in the game.)
-Community (We are still laughing AND singing the Reading Rainbow song.)

A-
-Shameless
-The Office (Though the movie was obviously filmed this season, it was great to have a callback to the better years of this once-amazing show)

B+
-Episodes
-How I Met Your Mother
-Pretty Little Liars (Leeard disagrees and thinks it deserves at least an A-)(Ern would like to point out that the shows Glee, The Vampire Diaries, and Pretty Little Liars would always get an A from Leeard, but Ern whittles it down to a reasonable score.)
-Parks and Recreation
-The Good Wife

B
-Off the Map
-V
-Southland
-30 Rock

C+
-Bones (kind of a bore this week)

  1. Agree about Grey's Anatomy. Best episode in a while.

Regarding Russ being the one who leaked the photos on Southland, I would like to make it known that I TOTALLY CALLED IT.

Off the Map was slightly more watchable this week. Still not crazy about it.

I'm sad about The Office. I have been forcing myself to watch it out of some strange allegiance, when really I just don't enjoy it anymore. :(

  2. Wow, we did not call that Russ leaked the photos. Good catch.

  3. Agree with the ones that I've watched, so far.

How great is Parks and Rec this season, btw?! April and Andy! April and Andy!

I loved on 30 Rock when Liz said, "I am making my graceful transition into spinsterhood. I have adopted this cat, and named her Emily Dickenson." YES.

  4. We thought of you when April and Andy kissed. ha. 30 Rock's ability to poke fun at Liz Lemon is a big part of what makes that show charming.

  5. Agree on Bones. Cam's deadline was stupid. You do know that real life crime-fighters do go on dates and do go home at night, even when there are unsolved murders, right? The only good part was the machine guns at the end. It was thoughtful and loving of Brennan to bring Booth something to cheer him up and spend time with him. I do so love them.

The rest of the episode was lame.

  6. Of course the Brennan/Booth moment was going to be good. The reason this season doesn't have as much life in it is that there haven't been enough interactions between those two. They need to be on the road, bickering and talking together, like in the old days before Hannah took up all of his time.

  7. Quick side note... My sister watched The Killers this past weekend, and I walked into the room. Hannah was in it, and we both yelled "AH, IT'S HER!"

For the record, she was a beyotch in that movie too. Though she didn't try to steal anyone's true love.

  8. Ewwww.

Was Killers as bad as we thought it would be?
