Our favorite South Park episodes per season

In celebration of the second half of season 14 premiering this Wednesday, we decided to give you guys a list of episodes to watch in case you aren't as into this show as you should be. After watching every episode of South Park, we made this list. Keep in mind that Cartman is by far our favorite character, so anything where he gets a lot of air time is good to us. We also recommend the movie. It's a movie musical. There are very few South Park episodes we hate. If you don't "get it," start with a few of these episodes.

There are two levels of people who like South Park 1) really dumb young people who like shock factor and potty humor and 2) smart adults who like satire, but never really grew up. Yeah, the characters curse a lot and it can get pretty gross, but we would rather watch this show than cleaner cartoons because there is more truth in it/it calls out the world's BS.

SEASON ONE: Cartman Gets An Anal Probe, Mr. Hankey the Christmas Poo (Mr. Hankey gets old, but his first appearance is worth catching), Cartman’s Mom is a Dirty Slut

SEASON TWO: Cartman’s Mom is Still a Dirty Slut, Chickenlover, Ike’s Wee Wee, Summer Sucks, Roger Ebert Should Lay Off the Fatty Foods, Chef Aid

SEASON THREE: Spontaneous Combustion, Cat Orgy, The Red Badge of Gayness, Mr. Hankey’s Christmas Classics, Are you there God? It’s me Jesus, The Brown Noise

SEASON FOUR: The Tooth Fairy's Tats, Cartman’s Silly Hate Crime, Timmy, Quintuplets, Cartman Joins NAMBLA

SEASON FIVE: Scott Tenorman Must Die (ALL TIME FAVE. Fun fact: Cartman's revenge is from Shakespeares' "Titus"), Cartmanland, Proper Condom Use, Here Comes the Neighborhood, Kenny Dies

SEASON SIX: Freak Strike, Fun with Veal, Professor Chaos, Simpsons Already Did It, The Return of the Fellowship to the Two Towers, The Death Camp of Tolerance, The Biggest Douche in the Universe (more truth in this episode than in most Sunday school classes)

SEASON SEVEN: Toilet Paper, I'm a Little Bit Country, Fat Butt and Pancake Head, Christian Rock Hard, Grey Dawn, Casa Bonita, All About the Mormons, Butt Out, Raisins

SEASON EIGHT: Up the Down Steroid, The Passion of the Jew, AWESOME-O, The Jeffersons, Goobacks (Dey took r Jawbs!), Douche and Turd, Pre-School, Quest for Ratings, Cartman's Incredible Gift

SEASON NINE: Mr. Garrison’s Fancy New Vagina, Die Hippie Die, Wing, Best Friends Forever, Two Days Before the Day After Tomorrow (Give me your Jew gold Kyle!), Ginger Kids, Trapped in the Closet (if you ever wonder what Scientologists actually believe, watch that episode), Bloody Mary

SEASON TEN: The Return of Chef, Smug Alert, Cartoon Wars 1 and 2 (FAMILY GUY SUCKS - if you don't believe us, watch this episode), Tsst, Make Love Not Warcraft, Go God Go 1 and 2 (yes, if there was no religion, there would still be wars)

SEASON ELEVEN: Cartman Sucks, The Snuke (only good if you like 24. Cartman’s intolerance of Muslims saves America), Fantastic Easter Special, Le Petite Tourette, The List

SEASON TWELVE (the weakest season): Tonsil Trouble, Britney’s New Look (we know this isn’t one of the most acclaimed South Park’s normally, but we dare you not to laugh/be disturbed when you see the “new look.” Also, when they talk about how we are no better than ancient cultures who loved to watch people get destroyed for entertainment, we nearly start applauding).

SEASON THIRTEEN: The Coon, Eat Pray Queef (mostly for the title), Fishsticks, Fatbeard, Butters’ Bottom Bitch (Butters becomes a pimp), Whale Whores (Cartman’s rendition of “Pokerface” shows up here), The F Word (Guys with Harleys beware), Dances with Smurfs

You can watch every episode of South Park at http://www.southparkstudios.com/, because the creators aren't greedy fascists and they allow their stuff to be on the internet. Enjoy...

  1. First I'll say that I can only stomach about half of all South Park episodes, but I love the half that I do watch. A lot of South Park is stupid and disgusting, but some of it is downright brilliant.

I love The Jeffersons, Fishsticks, About Last Night, Dead Celebrities, Stupid Spoiled Whore Video Playset, ManBearPig, and my all time favorite is Tsst!
I'm laughing just thinking about them.

  2. Tsst is GREAT. Good fave.

We used to cringe at half the South Parks, and we would screen them cautiously. Eventually, we learned to laugh at just about everything on that show...or we got desensitized, however you want to put it. You can't watch every episode of that show and not get desensitized. There are a few that still make us cringe though, and they didn't make the lists :)

Have you seen Make Love Not Warcraft? That might be our second fave. But all-time for us is definitely Scott Tenorman Must Die, because of the greatness that is Cartman.

  3. I'm still not desensitized enough to think that a talking turd is funny.

Make Love Not Warcraft is great. Scott Tenorman Must Die is pretty funny, but not in my top ten.

  4. We think the talking turd is funny the FIRST time he appears. After that, it's like, enough with the talking turd.
